Rwanda FDA is committed to consistently provide the highest quality of regulatory services that meet customer and statutory requirements by implementing a Quality Management System that complies with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Information on RWANDA FDA’s Quality Management System is well documented in the Quality Manual which among other things states the Quality Policy Statement, Mission, Vision and strategic objectives.

To ensure sustainable provision of services, RWANDA FDA is committed to implement risk management in accordance with National and International Guidelines to mitigate risks that may affect achievement of objectives set out in the institutional Strategic Plan. The Authority has established Risk Management Framework as guiding tool to address risks and respond to disasters that may delay performance and RWANDA FDA’s capability to provide essential business services to its esteemed customers.

Additionally, the Authority has developed a roadmap for ISO 9001:2015 certification and currently, is targeting to attain maturity level 3 and be among World Health Organization Listed Authorities through implementing global benchmarking tool.
